WHO I AM
Hello and welcome to my portfolio!
Growing up, I never was quite sure what I wanted to do with my life. However, I knew I was passionate about writing. My senior year of high school, while researching potential majors, I stumbled across Public Relations. It seemed perfect. I loved business, but I also loved journalism. I believed it was the crossroads between the two majors I was torn between. This is how I fell in love with PR.
Throughout my time at Ball State University, it was my goal to do everything in my power to ensure my future successes. Therefore, I did my best to get involved with on-campus organizations, internships, speakers and more. I believe my experiences, both in and outside of the classroom, provided me with the knowledge of an array of industries and topics and prepared me immensely for graduation and career success.
One aspect that I believe sets me apart is my passion. I truly believe that whenever I am a part of anything, I give it 110%. I am a very committed to the organizations and companies that I am a part of. It is my personal mantra that you can never stop learning, so each day it is my goal to learn something new. I realize that I am still learning and do not know everything yet, but I will always do my best to learn and catch up.
Additionally, I strive to be a good person in all that I do. I firmly believe that kindness goes a long way. In my professional career, I hope to take this mantra and apply it. I do truly think ethics have a strong place in the field of public relations.
I believe I am most skilled in the areas of media relations, writing, social media management and research. In my time in the public relations industry, I have already proved myself through countless media placements, projects and more.
I am a 2017 graduate of Ball State University with a B.S. in Public Relations and a minor in marketing. I am a new professional located in Indianapolis and would love to connect with you!
